Missed it when it came out in the Cinemas, so I finally got it on DVD. I am a huge sucker for animal movies, and I’ve always had a soft spot for huskies *melts*. This Disney movie is both funny and emotionally engaging. As expected, I shed tears of joy and sympathy as I watched these 8 huskies strike out on their own in Antarctica. It was just heart wrenching every time they went hungry or got hurt. I also felt for Jerry (played by Paul Walker) when he was forced to leave his dogs stranded in Antarctica and had to pull out all stops just to go back to rescue them. The main themes explored in the film were good old values such as honor, loyalty and friendship. Good stuff for a night-in.
